West Coast Park delights

Someday I would like to publish a book. Right now, it is more immediately satisfying to just publish a post. There is time and season for everything and I want that time to come naturally and spontaneously. This morning, West Coast Park was again a nature-lover's delight.
The last of the Tiger Orchid blooms.
mushroom wrapped up in a frilly skirt.

Never seen a mushroom like this one before.

Butterfly ignoring the advances of my zoom lens.

Many such flies were hovering above some shrubs.
Emerging flower.

Feathery deposit.

Just waking up.

The alarm has not gone off yet.

Beautiful foliage.

Fragrant rangoon creeper flowers.
Sea grapes ripening.

Another fruiting tree.

Bark texture.
The flowers are gone and the fruits are growing by the day.

Changeable lizard playing hide-and-seek with me.

A bird of prey.

It was tough trekking them.

Motherhood.
The lovely Ixora.

Leaves that are two-tone.
This bract of the Crepe ginger seemed like it was glowing.

Wild and dry.
Such neatness and perfectness in lines.

Pleated skirts might have been inspired by this palm.

Fish-tails.

The Fish Tail Palm.

Gigantic leaves of the Sea-Almond tree.

Sea Hibiscus.
Maximum zoom to get this butterfly amongst the shrubs.

Using the flash made such a great difference!

This was the best that I got today.
A butterfly made my day.

On the same tree.

That's all for today.
