Labrador Park In July 2014 (a)

Labrador Park, like most parks in Singapore other than the Singapore Botanic Gardens, is pleasant on weekday mornings around 9am. There are fewer people and you get the feeling of peace and tranquility listening to the waves and the birds flying amongst the tree tops. Like most of our parks, the towering trees and greenery are balm for the eyes.

Seaweeds draping over the rocks on low tide.

Overlays of various shades of green.
Tall Casuarina trees whispering tales in the wind.
Roots need to breathe too.
Bunches of fruits of the Fishtail Palm.
A newly-built playground. Alas the kids are all in school.
Bird-nest ferns.
The leaves of a Fishtail Palm. Now you know why they are named so.
So much space to grow.
Like a Christmas tree.
A woodpecker pecking on the top of this lamp post. I was too slow to get a better picture.
Heliconia.

Nearing the top of the hill.

Downhill.
Ferns.
I just like the leave formation.
Someday I will fly way up in the sky.
