Kentridge Park

Kentridge Park is undergoing some changes at the carpark area. The view of the sea has changed and has become uglier as more of the seafront is being swallowed up by the port. Luckily I had not gone there for the view. As the morning sun was rather scorching I decided to walk down the steps to where the pond was instead of heading for the boardwalk towards Hortpark. The vegetation was sparser than before although the trees still provided good shade as I hunted for insects and interesting animal life. Well I saw some birds, mostly mynahs and many types of dragonflies hovering over a small pond. Except for a big, black bee, there was nothing much to get excited about.

This dragonfly is different from the rest and it got bullied a lot by the rest.
