West Coast Park

West Coast Park yesterday was bathed in morning sunshine that got rather scorching as the sun ascended the sky. It was a livelier park now that school holidays are here. Grandparents on holiday from their charges, free from demanding grandchildren who have been reclaimed by their parents and taken overseas for their annual holidays. Parents with young children and maids in tow as well as caucasian women with their dogs and the Filipino maids with caucasian babies in prams who are unrelated to the women with the dogs. Ignoring the human presence, the park is still a lovely place to be taking a walk or stroll in. It is rather sad though, that nature's gifts are largely ignored by the people who go there because of MacDonald's or the Playground.

A spider went haywire spinning a web.

This morning, the sky was heavy with grey clouds threatening a downpour. I took my umbrella and went for a walk. The rainfall was light and I was still able to take my beloved photos of nature. Here they are:

I found this bunch of mushroom uprooted and felt sad that someone had done this to them.
