West Coast Park - Herons, mushrooms and a lizard

On a fine morning like today, a light breeze made walking pleasant. Positive thoughts attracted beautiful creatures and I am glad to be able to share my sightings of an elegant Grey Heron perched on a branch high above the water looking for fish from its vantage point. A little heron poised to strike like an arrow but alas no target was in sight. And then another beauty from foreign lands - a lovely egret with some long, wispy feathers on the crown of its head, pristine white from afar, grooming. Wow! Then I spotted some white mushrooms under a tree and they looked fresh and healthy. Lastly, a changeable lizard that I decided not to disturb for too long. What a blessed morning.
