Dairy Farm trail

For a long time during our nature walks, I was secretly hoping to see a snake. Today, I saw not one but two. One is a golden tree snake I think. The other one is a highly poisonous blue coral snake. It was slithering along the side of the road we were walking on just minding its own business and we respected that. On our way back from the quarry we saw it again behaving in a rather agitated manner. A lady passing by said it could have been injured. Having only an hour and a half to engage nature in the hot weather, we did not encounter any interesting insects or wildlife this morning. So the snakes were the only highlights.

Golden tree snake.
Here it is languishing on a fern leaf.

Blue coral snake, highly poisonous.
Don't go near it.
