Upper Peirce Reservoir 22 Mar 2015

We wanted to see more of the wilder side of our Parks. This morning we drove to Upper Peirce Reservoir Park where monkeys stroll along the long stretch of road leading to it hoping to be fed by people in passing cars who are illiterate for they could not read the signs all over the place telling them not to feed the monkeys. We did see those monkeys but before that we also saw some wild life, insects and butterflies that made our walk enjoyable.
Flying lizard. See the wings folded at both sides of its body.

It got agitated when I went too near and showed its anger by displaying its throat flag.

Further away, could it be the same lizard?

Ixora flower in the wild.
A pretty butterfly stopping by to pose for me.
