There is hope yet for us in our insect-hunting quest with our discovery of the Belukar Trail that links Dairy Farm Nature Park to MacRitchie Reservoir and Zhenghua Park.We saw one or two species of insects that we have not seen before, some interesting fungi and the return of the bees amongst the thicket of grass. There were also some pretty spiders waiting for their prey and a grasshopper that looked like it was a twig. See if you can spot it.
I dedicate this blog to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, our first Prime Minister, who planted the first tree on 16 June 1963 to launch the tree-planting campaign in Singapore. What follows is a flourishing island of greenery and beautiful parks that I now have the privilege of enjoying. I will walk the parks with you in my heart. Thank you very much Mr Lee!
