Yesterday was filled with the sight and fragrance of Cannonball tree flowers. Today, walking a different part of West Coast Park on a hot but breezy day, the trees commanded my attention throughout. How do you walk past these lovely creations without feeling thankful for their shade and their greenery that soothe your vision? How can one not notice that we have so many different species of trees in an area that the eye can encompass in its view - rain tree, casuarina or Rhu trees, cannonball trees, different variety of palms, different shapes, different heights, different shades of green. Branches that reach upwards, sideways in sinewy fashion. Today belongs to the trees of West Coast Park and here they are.
